Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when César de Moraes got the match started through his kick off. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francesco Toldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porto Sul Football's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Porto Sul Football's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match, César de Moraes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 39th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 41st match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Clocheret to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes, Edinho Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porto Sul Football and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Porto Sul Football got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Silva. Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Caetano Novaes scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 1-3. After the first half Belgium were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Francesco Toldo could save by the left post. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César de Moraes in the 57th minute of play. With his leg Francesco Toldo managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Francesco Toldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute Samuel Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 66th minute. Belgium's Sander Dermaut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francesco Toldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 69th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Francesco Toldo however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Belgium's Lenny Clocheret to a score. 1-4 in the 73rd minute. Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-7 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francesco Toldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Siebe Michiels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porto Sul Football's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Porto Sul Football from getting a goal against them.
