Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Puerto de Sagunto CF's Gong Yong Nan. Gong Yong Nan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 8 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco José Millán. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gong Yong Nan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matia Climent in the 13th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gong Yong Nan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Yong Nan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 28th minute of play forced Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Gong Yong Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gong Yong Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 32nd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gong Yong Nan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Yong Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco José Millán went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richmond Van Glabeeke made a kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gong Yong Nan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco José Millán came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puerto de Sagunto CF were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edu Gaspar took the corner. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco José Millán, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Gong Yong Nan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco José Millán in the 68th minute of play. Gong Yong Nan made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richmond Van Glabeeke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco José Millán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Francisco José Millán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puerto de Sagunto CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Puerto de Sagunto CF made a substitution. Doroteo Astudillo replaced Florentino Checa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco José Millán in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco José Millán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
