Patricio Fillol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Ermanno Zoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Antonini, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Zoff in the 18th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Feyli Ragazzi's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Patricio Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Fillol having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 38th minute of play forced Feyli Ragazzi's goalkeeper Patricio Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arrigo Antonini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feyli Ragazzi's supporters rose to their feet, but Arrigo Antonini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Fillol. Feyli Ragazzi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermanno Zoff to strike the kick off in the second half. When Davide Cerasoli fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feyli Ragazzi's protests and gave Davide Cerasoli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Davide Cerasoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Lajos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, Feyli Ragazzi's Ermanno Zoff made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bakos Endre hit a great ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Patricio Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute Arrigo Antonini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Fillol came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermanno Zoff in the 93rd minute of the match. Hungary played a much better game than Feyli Ragazzi and deserved their victory. The Feyli Ragazzi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
