Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Toledo started the match with the kick off. Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Santiago Sartori in the 9 minute of the game. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 16th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 22nd minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Ma Wei Jun. Frédson Lira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Corneliu Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Corneliu Dridu made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omid Kaulbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If David Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Spain's Omar Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 62nd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Trevisan came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Omar Toledo. But to his dismay, Omar Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Antunes in the 71st minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adria Bielsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Celso Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dr Lecter SC's zone, Carles Cherro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Trevisan came out of the goal and Carles Cherro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 88th minute of play. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carles Cherro in the 91st minute of the match. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Sergio Ruiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dr Lecter SC throughout the match.
