Aquiles Gana started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dražen Ladić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavio Vittori didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After 17 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Aquiles Gana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Aquiles Gana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 24th minute of the match. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to AC Morena getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aquiles Gana hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Gana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 45th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute. Sigfrido Auletta scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dražen Ladić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, AC Morena's Dražen Ladić got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Dražen Ladić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dražen Ladić was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zaccheo Andolina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Ferdinando De Simone kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC Morena.
