The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cordairo Segura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cordairo Segura. Atlético Maravilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Quentin Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordairo Segura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 16th minute of the match. Herminio March hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Elano Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cordairo Segura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Cordairo Segura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. In the 30th match minute, Atlético Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Arraz to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes in the game, Aniceto Campello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Quentin Gonzalez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Dionisio Hidalgo scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético Maravilla's Cordairo Segura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Maravilla from getting a goal against them. Cordairo Segura was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-4. Honorato Arraz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Quentin Gonzalez made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Atlético Maravilla's Cordairo Segura got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Dionisio Hidalgo made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Atlético Maravilla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
