Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julian Brudnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 4th minute of play forced Niwnice's goalkeeper Julian Brudnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Niwnice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Wim Wilmes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 8th minute, Serginho Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Niwnice's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Julian Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vyacheslav Chaban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Brudnicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Niwnice's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Julian Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Brudnicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Niwnice's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Julian Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Niwnice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 44th minute of play forced Niwnice's goalkeeper Julian Brudnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Lars Meesters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Brudnicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Borcz made a kick off. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Julian Brudnicki made a huge save. Julian Brudnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute of the match, Wim Wilmes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julian Brudnicki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of play forced Niwnice's goalkeeper Julian Brudnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Julian Brudnicki made a huge save. Julian Brudnicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 78th minute. A collision led to Niwnice getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lech Owsiak hit a great ball. Niwnice's Edmund Karpinski was substituted for Vyacheslav Chaban. Niwnice made a substitution. Przemyslaw Gendolla replaced Lech Owsiak. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 83rd minute Witomir Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niwnice's Julian Brudnicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Niwnice from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julian Brudnicki could save by the left post. Julian Brudnicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. Edmund Karpinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
