In the 12th match minute, Nhungarinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Camargo to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmund Kojder quite easily take care of the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Nhungarinthians got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nhungarinthians's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Laércio Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Lara in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 87thth minute of the game Laércio Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Laércio Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
