An unexpectedly hard shot by Efsane Karagülle in the 5th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when SOLO TÜRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Numan Atlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güney Alan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Efsane Karagülle sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Güney Alan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Güney Alan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when 史康磊 sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efsane Karagülle in the 28th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 29th minute. SOLO TÜRK's Güney Alan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. SOLO TÜRK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Lars Meesters to score against Güney Alan in SOLO TÜRK's goal. 0-3 after 35 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 41st minute of play forced SOLO TÜRK's goalkeeper Güney Alan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by SOLO TÜRK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 史康磊 in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efsane Karagülle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, 史康磊 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOLO TÜRK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efsane Karagülle in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SOLO TÜRK defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güney Alan. The SOLO TÜRK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güney Alan should have stopped the shot. The supporters of SOLO TÜRK booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Lennart Albom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOLO TÜRK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Albom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got free with Güney Alan in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Stenman in the 67th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Egbert Nijveldt put in a rough tackle. 69 minutes into the game, one of Netherlands:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Güney Alan in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79th play minutes Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot 2-5, a short shot which went by Güney Alan and just under the crossbar into goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Güney Alan could save by the left post. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güney Alan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Şanver İpek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güney Alan. SOLO TÜRK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Albom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
