Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Jilek kicked off to start the match. Ysidro Mallen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Denis Dostal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alan Rezek fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Alan Rezek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute of the match, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vavrinec Holub saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vavrinec Holub to make any attempt to save it. 24 minutes in the game, Flavio Larpe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Denis Dostal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ysidro Mallen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Alan Rezek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estudiantes de la Plata's Ysidro Mallen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dostal in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Larpe got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes de la Plata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
