In the 21st minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Albin Holweck took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Dionísio. Didi Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudiu Arjoca went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Müfit Gülerce was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Arjoca's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Claudiu Arjoca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudiu Arjoca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-3. Wonderkids walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
