Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matias Jon started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Jon in the 8th minute of play. Willy Stieler made in the 9th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by NeW York CitY CopS's Alejo Beltran. When Matias Jon came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the NeW York CitY CopS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Jon couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matias Jon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matias Jon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Matias Jon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Jon got free with Tommy Kahn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Matias Jon put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. A collision led to NeW York CitY CopS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carlos Urdin hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Matias Jon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matias Jon really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Jon in the 44th minute of the match. Matias Jon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 59th minute of play forced NeW York CitY CopS's goalkeeper Santos Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Matias Jon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Matias Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Barrionuevo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Eduardo Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eduardo Barrionuevo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 87 minutes in the game, Eduardo Barrionuevo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Barrionuevo went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of NeW York CitY CopS booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. NeW York CitY CopS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
