Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Jilek started the match with the kick off. Alex Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Rezek in the 5th minute of the match. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ercole Marra sent off a good shot on target. Alex Federici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Rezek in the 10th minute of play. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alex Federici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Carloforte f.c.'s Amedeo Orioli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Erik Jilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Federici having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Angelucci. 23 minutes into the game, David Rusil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. Denis Dostal might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Federici. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Dostal ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Amedeo Orioli tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bruno Miconi hit a great ball. Ercole Marra made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 35thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vavrinec Holub would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 47 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Canzano.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercole Marra to make the kick off. Amedeo Orioli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercole Marra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Federici was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Monzeglio. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Federici having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Daniel Vitek put in a rough tackle. 72 minutes into the game, one of Czech Republic:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Federici having to interfere. If Alan Rezek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alan Rezek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czech Republic's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Rezek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Federici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ercole Marra scored 3-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Czech Republic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
