Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. Alex Federici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Federici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Andrea Capasso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alex Federici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Miconi to maneuver through the defense. In the 28thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Orioli in the 29th minute of play. Christian Signori kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Capasso. In the 37th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Alex Federici. Carloforte f.c.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Federici was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Bjarne Kirkegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Marra to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ercole Marra to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Federici didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Federici having to interfere. In the 59th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Miconi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Chris Nygaard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Federici. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Marra in the 70th minute of the match. Carloforte f.c.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adriano Canzano in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Andrea Capasso got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Andrea Capasso with Ercole Marra as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Federici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Vitale's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Vitale helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carloforte f.c.! Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
