After a defensive mix-up in Los Teros FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Hulberto came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Teros FC's Basilio Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Teros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casado Quintanilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Los Teros FC got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Milik. Los Teros FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
