Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olov Holmberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emilio Maurizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Emilio Maurizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Olov Holmberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fodor Daniel. The goal made the score 1-0. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paşa Palla in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, L.R. Vicenza's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Emilio Maurizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Nel in the 23rd minute of play. Paşa Palla scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the L.R. Vicenza defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Maurizi. The L.R. Vicenza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Maurizi should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Olov Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Paşa Palla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute L.R. Vicenza were awarded a corner. Aristides Nel went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Aristides Nel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, L.R. Vicenza's Cesare Boldrini got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Hungary booed when L.R. Vicenza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Polito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Emilio Maurizi made a huge save. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Aristides Nel, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Aristides Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 minutes of play, L.R. Vicenza's Olov Holmberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Holmberg in the 69th minute of play. Olov Holmberg scored 4-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paşa Palla struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for L.R. Vicenza. With a little luck, L.R. Vicenza's Emilio Maurizi got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Maurizi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes L.R. Vicenza got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Balestra. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emilio Maurizi. That made the score 4-2 after 85 minutes of play. 91 minutes into the match, Olov Holmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Holmberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Aristides Nel struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for L.R. Vicenza.
