Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Maleth F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Frederick Pulè reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederick Pulè prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maleth F.C.'s Frederick Pulè played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 13th minute of play. Botond Petres charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Botond Petres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Botond Petres hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Pulè having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Janik Vogt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frederick Pulè quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Jason Schembri Zerafa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Hamilton got free with Tommy Kahn in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrone Tabone. 32 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Quinto threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 45th minute, Botond Petres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tyrone Tabone to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jason Schembri Zerafa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maleth F.C.'s Gaudencio Quinto got a free kick in the 58th minute.
