Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Maleth F.C.'s Frederick Pulè played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 7th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Takacs Tibor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frederick Pulè quite easily take care of the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Maleth F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Vörös Henrik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lawrence Polidano charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lawrence Polidano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Maleth F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Polidano. In the 14th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Pulè saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Pulè having to interfere. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of play forced Maleth F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederick Pulè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederick Pulè took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Frederick Pulè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hegedus Henrik came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hegedus Henrik couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyrone Tabone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ruhut Tutuarima came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruhut Tutuarima's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruhut Tutuarima helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Ruhut Tutuarima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hegedus Henrik to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Tabone, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 68 minutes Maleth F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Tabone in the 70th minute of the match. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Pulè saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Jason Schembri Zerafa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maleth F.C. and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Katona Janos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Frederick Pulè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin took the corner. 90 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederick Pulè made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Maleth F.C.'s Frederick Pulè proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Maleth F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maleth F.C..
