Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, France's Remy Dupuy got a free kick in the 5th minute. France's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Karsten Karlsen 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Camille Baume left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Karsten Karlsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Karsten Karlsen sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Peletier in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eero Viks prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Överås IK's Eero Viks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th match minute, Överås IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Bergsten to maneuver through the defense. When Kasper Hafström came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Överås IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasper Hafström couldn't finish the play. If David Barbier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Överås IK got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hydén. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 53rd minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Henry Robiquet in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Överås IK's Virgo Saidla. In the 66th match minute, Överås IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Karlsen to maneuver through the defense. Frank Peletier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eero Viks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Frank Peletier from a close distance when the talented Eero Viks managed to make a qualified save. Överås IK's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Robiquet during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Robiquet to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Överås IK booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Robiquet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Peletier in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eero Viks, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eero Viks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Karsten Karlsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Överås IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karsten Karlsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. France were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
