The supporters of Denmark booed when altos angeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillen Badia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionel Cocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Ulises Burgoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iraido Torices kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ionel Cocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Burgoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. altos angeles's Erdiano Gort was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 20th minute, Lobo Bujia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ionel Cocea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Cocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionel Cocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 34th minute of play. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Erdiano Gort made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, altos angeles's goalkeeper Ionel Cocea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. After a rather tough play, altos angeles's Aitor Albar got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mikkel Wulff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, altos angeles's Iratzeder Vascones tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Iratzeder Vascones came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the altos angeles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iratzeder Vascones couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Erdiano Gort came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraido Torices in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes, Lars Steen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the altos angeles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. Iratzeder Vascones made a great header on altos angeles's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Ionel Cocea in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Steen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, altos angeles's Iratzeder Vascones tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Iraido Torices's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iraido Torices helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, altos angeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iraido Torices to maneuver through the defense. The altos angeles support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
