The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Iseli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Federico Pala fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PomeziaRamblers's protests and gave Federico Pala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Pala to maneuver through the defense. Timo Siegmund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domenico Bertolini. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Bertolini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 minutes, Ennio Basso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PomeziaRamblers and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Switzerland's Jürg von Ballmoos was substituted for Jacinto Maurer. In the 56th match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Basso to maneuver through the defense. Jürg von Ballmoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Pala got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 98th minute, Federico Pala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The PomeziaRamblers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Switzerland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
