Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gică Curcă started the match with the kick off. If Remus Ostoici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 8th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrei Pavel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Oanță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 19th minute of play. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 24th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Fanaticii's goalie and right to Katona Janos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Fanaticii's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 28 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrei Pavel came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 39th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 47th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Pavel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55thth minute of the game Gică Curcă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Comăneci, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Pavel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Andrei Pavel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 67 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel got control of the ball when Balazs Lajos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Curcă in the 70th minute of the match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st play minute Takacs Tibor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andrei Pavel. 0-2. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Andrei Pavel made a huge save. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere.
