Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vladimir Miheev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Germany booed when Canastro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Absolwent didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Zbyszko Cupial tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Recife hit a great ball. Zbyszko Cupial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Vladimir Miheev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, João Pedro Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canastro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Canastro FC's Daniel Recife managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Willy Stieler in the 32 minute of the game. Zbyszko Cupial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Silva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but João Pedro Silva slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro Silva to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Silva in the 52nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, João Pedro Silva notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Absolwent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Canastro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Canastro FC's Zbyszko Cupial. But to his dismay, Zbyszko Cupial quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Silva came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wlodzimierz Absolwent hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Vladimir Miheev in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Canastro FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Zbyszko Cupial had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbyszko Cupial was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Marquinhos Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Cupial in the 95th minute of play. Canastro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
