Korneliusz Dyczkowskis short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Dobromir Rawa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Dobromir Rawa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korneliusz Dyczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Korneliusz Dyczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Ogrodowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanek Ogrodowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Kaider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanek Ogrodowicz went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Feliks Kaider made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Germany's Frank Sachs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliks Kaider. That made the score 2-1 after 65 minutes of play. 69 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Ogrodowicz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edu Pinheiro got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tommy Kahn handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When LWY KASZYCE 2's Korneliusz Dyczkowski, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for LWY KASZYCE 2. After 75 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 78th minute, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Chris Mergenthaler the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Germany protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Chris Mergenthaler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave LWY KASZYCE 2 a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Phil Collins, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. 3-1. The audience was convinced that Edu Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Pinheiro came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
