In the 20th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvain Witschard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Totenteich's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Totenteich's goalie and right to Vörös Henrik. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Totenteich's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Germain Arnold charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germain Arnold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, FC Totenteich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Christen to maneuver through the defense. FC Totenteich's Sylvain Witschard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sylvain Witschard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sylvain Witschard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes FC Totenteich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Takacs Tibor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 65th minute of play forced FC Totenteich's goalkeeper Sylvain Witschard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylvain Witschard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antal Valentin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, FC Totenteich's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Sylvain Witschard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hungary played a much better game than FC Totenteich and deserved their victory. The FC Totenteich players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
