Sandro Galishoff started the match with the kick off. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Di Lorenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Fabio Auer had great luck who in the 7thth minute grab hold of the ball when Claudio Di Lorenzo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cristiano Porro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Di Lorenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bonobos FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Damiano Giorda hit a great ball. After 22 minutes of play, Bonobos FC's Claudio Di Lorenzo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Porro in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Schneider in the 30th minute of play forced Bonobos FC's goalkeeper Eulalio Calisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Calisto having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Bonobos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Ciaccia to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Porro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Porro in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Porro in the 61st minute of play. Claudio Di Lorenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonobos FC's Amos Pizzi was substituted for Damiano Giorda. Cristiano Porro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Di Lorenzo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Amos Pizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Porro in the 74th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Porro scored 3-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Porro in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Claudio Di Lorenzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Di Lorenzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Porro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5-0 became the score in the 95th minute when Cristiano Porro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Austria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
