Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Régis Jacinto made the kick off and thus started the match. Bertram Svenningsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Olav Graversen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Walmyr Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Jacinto's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 13th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes in the game Valdomiro Jacinto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benedito Vides. 24 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Walmyr Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walmyr Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 31st minute of the match. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olav Graversen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Walmyr Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmyr Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walmyr Linhares. INTER FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Walmyr Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes in the game, Mikkel Wulff fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Walmyr Linhares having to interfere. Olav Graversen struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Walmyr Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Walmyr Linhares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Benedito Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Benedito Vides got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Wulff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jânio Prado hit a great ball. Walmyr Linhares made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. Moisés Neves made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Basílio Maranhense however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Meirelles in the 93rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moisés Neves, made in the 95th minute of the game.
