He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FairPlay FC reached it. In the 17th minute of the match, Elói Alcântara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabio Auer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Alcântara in the 23rd minute of the match. Marvin Harrer hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The long shot by Elói Alcântara in the 25th minute really tested Fabio Auer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 29th minute Elói Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Nalder in the 32nd minute of the match. Austria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Victor Barral scored to the left of an out of position Fabio Auer, making the score, 1-1. In the 37th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Galishoff to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Alcântara in the 39th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. If Victor Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Pedro Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Schneider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 91 minutes, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Galishoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Elói Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FairPlay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Austria's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
