After having played for 17 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KS Pradniczanka Krakow's Tobiasz Gdaniec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 19th minute of play. The long shot by Witomir Bienienda in the 26th minute really tested Keld Paulsen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobiasz Gdaniec was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Emil Ptaszek made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. The supporters of KS Pradniczanka Krakow booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Pradniczanka Krakow throughout the match.
