Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Gaspar's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Germany booed when Paraná Clube PG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 9th match minute, Paraná Clube PG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Valadares to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Paraná Clube PG got a freekick which was hit by Noel Quirino. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Oswaldo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oswaldo Velloso. In the 34th minute Paraná Clube PG were awarded a corner. Noel Quirino went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Noel Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Noel Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraná Clube PG's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The Paraná Clube PG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

Noel Quirino struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraná Clube PG. 56 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube PG's Abderraouf Moussaoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game Abderraouf Moussaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderraouf Moussaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Paraná Clube PG's Mauro Valadares got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Mauro Valadares hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 65th minute. When Paraná Clube PG's Abderraouf Moussaoui in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute, Abderraouf Moussaoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 75th minute Paraná Clube PG were awarded a corner. Noel Quirino went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Paraná Clube PG's corner Noel Quirino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Mauro Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Paraná Clube PG's Noel Quirino in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderraouf Moussaoui in the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Germany eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
