Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogumil Zbydniewski's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Bogumil Zbydniewski sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. When Tomasz Sabatini came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fedaykin of Arrakeen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomasz Sabatini couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
