An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play forced The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match, Alfie Chivers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alfie Chivers made a great header on The Youth Project's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes The Youth Project got a freekick which was hit by Joe Llyod. Alfie Chivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Youth Project's Mattias Metcalfe got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Young breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Balazs Lajos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martyn Featherstone to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Colman in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, The Youth Project's Lucas Young got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfie Chivers might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfie Chivers ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Young made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfie Chivers in the 72nd minute of the match. Rowan Jepson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Martyn Featherstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Youth Project's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Young came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of The Youth Project booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Major Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Alfie Chivers came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfie Chivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing The Youth Project to leave the ground with a draw.
