Jurgen Goris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Everardo Huguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris managed to reach the ball for a save. Mathijn Doctor was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, Everardo Huguet made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurgen Goris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurgen Goris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Mario Van den Plas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jurgen Goris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 67th minute. After 68 minutes Wesselbend's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gustaaf Groeneveldt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris did a great save. In the 71st match minute, Wesselbend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Van den Plas to maneuver through the defense. Jurgen Goris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 75th minute. In the 84th minute Benard Ngamta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Wesselbend's Everardo Huguet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Wesselbend were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
