Klemen Mikuž showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Ramalho came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Klemen Mikuž tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemen Mikuž saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agnaldo Ramalho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klemen Mikuž saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antal Valentin during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Milky Way booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Milky Way's Klemen Mikuž played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 75th minute of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Klemen Mikuž made a huge save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Ramalho in the 85th minute of play. Zladko Terdič hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Ramalho in the 93rd minute of play. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
