After 6 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play forced The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Featherstone came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martyn Featherstone. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martyn Featherstone in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Youth Project's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfie Chivers in the 17th minute. Mattias Metcalfe's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Metcalfe helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes The Youth Project got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Metcalfe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfie Chivers in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Lucas Young reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes The Youth Project's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfie Chivers in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfie Chivers, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Young read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martyn Featherstone was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alfie Chivers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Martyn Featherstone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martyn Featherstone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfie Chivers in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Featherstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Youth Project's Alfie Chivers got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Featherstone in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Harry Colman made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Lucas Young in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paddy Ackland in the 75th minute of play. The Youth Project were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfie Chivers took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Germany's goalie and right to Martyn Featherstone. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rowan Jepson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Youth Project. Lucas Young made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 83rd minute of play forced The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyn Featherstone in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alfie Chivers came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martyn Featherstone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Youth Project fully deserved thier win.
