Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Laerte Lucas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hélio Pimenta hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Fernandão Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Fernandão Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandão Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montevideo's Laerte Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 18th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Christian Passos made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Lucas in the 24th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilson Fernandez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Hélio Pimenta was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hélio Pimenta hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Fernandão Recife dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-0. When Montevideo's Olavo Matorin in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Passos in the 57th minute of play. Fernandão Recife scored 4-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 minutes of play, Montevideo's Christian Passos made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Olavo Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo Matorin couldn't finish the play. If Olavo Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Matorin in the 75th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ronaldo Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Lucas. When the referee ended the match the Montevideo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
