Tommy Kahn had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Felipe Su's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigih Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Tracto's José Stevenson was substituted for Dionisio Quinito. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Stevenson was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when José Stevenson came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, José Stevenson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gigih Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Felipe Su sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Germany's Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move.
