Blas Vives showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 15th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Lagisa Naranco F.C.'s Alvino Fuentes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilija Skugor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvino Fuentes in the 30th minute. Ilija Skugor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvino Fuentes's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Croatia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
