Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Rogers in the 19th minute of the match. If Dietbald Munderloh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Peter Larsfält stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Peter Larsfält tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Cardozo. With an all-out effort, Real Piazza 1982's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steve Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dietbald Munderloh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Cardozo came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Anzolin got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Peter Larsfält. In the 67thth minute of the game Nestor Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
