Denmark's players were relieved. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Timmy Skog scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great ball. BK Gunilla's Isaac Haraldsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Keld Paulsen but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 25th minute of play forced BK Gunilla's goalkeeper Axel Thidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Axel Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Timmy Skog hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Stellan Stor hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Pål Östlund kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Axel Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Denmark booed when BK Gunilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Bertram Svenningsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BK Gunilla booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Olav Graversen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Östlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. William Olenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Denmark's Lars Steen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
