The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Gomberto Picozzi put in a rough tackle. Italy:s Flavio Vittori showed great skill when he stopped Cezary Chrzan:s penalty. After a rather tough play, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Sylwester Klimkiewicz got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Lewandowski came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SMOCZANKA MIELEC fully deserved thier win.
