Alan Rezek's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Rezek helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Rezek kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Valdemar Turecek got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jan ter Averst struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zijdewind SC. The audience was convinced that Damien Schimmel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Jilek in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bohumir Kohout during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Bohumir Kohout got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Luuk Meppelink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The shot was stopped by Vavrinec Holub but with some difficulty. In the 42nd match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Schimmel to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Dostal to maneuver through the defense. When Damien Schimmel fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zijdewind SC's protests and gave Damien Schimmel a yellow card for diving instead. Damien Schimmel kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Alan Rezek got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 45th minute, Alan Rezek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Damien Schimmel made the kick off in the second half. When Zijdewind SC's Damien Schimmel in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christijan Booy in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Damien Schimmel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. David Rusil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Kok didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. The Czech Republic supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Czech Republic would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
