The throw-in from Theis Winther in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Steaua Nordului's Corneliu Mironov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 4th minute of play forced Steaua Nordului's goalkeeper Teodor Hreapcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A sloppy throw-in by Olav Graversen in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Steaua Nordului's Corneliu Mironov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Horodincă got free with Keld Paulsen in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Hreapcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 16th minute. Teodor Hreapcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Teodor Hreapcă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bendtsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 33rd minute Mikkel Wulff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Hreapcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Hreapcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute of the match. Teodor Hreapcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 46th minute of play. Teodor Hreapcă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Teodor Hreapcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Denmark's Lars Steen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Olav Graversen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua Nordului the free kick. The supporters of Steaua Nordului booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodor Hreapcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 82nd minute of play. Teodor Hreapcă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chris Nygaard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 84 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodor Hreapcă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13.
