In the 67th minute of the match Charmander City got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the last second Tobias Reuters throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bartolomeu Dias in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Bartolomeu Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolomeu Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Reuters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
