Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaviedes Arrese got free with Arnout Reekers in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute, Olcay Orkun Gencay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos FC's goalkeeper João Vítor de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute Asencio Cuffaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 11th minute of play forced Diablos FC's goalkeeper João Vítor de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Vítor de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. João Vítor de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Vítor de Amorim came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 23rd minute of play forced Diablos FC's goalkeeper João Vítor de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asencio Cuffaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Vítor de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Vítor de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of the match. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Vítor de Amorim. João Vítor de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Diablos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaviedes Arrese made a kick off. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaviedes Arrese in the 51st minute of play. If Asencio Cuffaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Kaviedes Arrese came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diablos FC made a substitution. Hernan Randoli replaced Omar Gochicoa. Diablos FC's Franklin Hostos was substituted for Moises Suane. With a little luck, Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reimundo Casado in the 69th minute of play. Kaviedes Arrese scored 1-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Franklin Hostos notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asencio Cuffaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reimundo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vítor de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
