The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Celipe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Kylan Mbappè fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Aşık Tunçdağ came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşık Tunçdağ. Aşık Tunçdağ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A hard shot 22 in the game by Fernando Celipe from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Fernando Celipe sent off a good shot on target. Faustino Almeida made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ARAKLISPOR's Adrian Kruse. Fernando Celipe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Aşık Tunçdağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Celipe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 3-2 in the 39 minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kylan Mbappè in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Fernando Celipe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Celipe took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Moura got free with Aşık Tunçdağ in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Celipe came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aşık Tunçdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 67th minute of play. ARAKLISPOR's Aşık Tunçdağ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save ARAKLISPOR from getting a goal against them. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Aşık Tunçdağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. ARAKLISPOR's Hami Öktüre was substituted for Adrian Kruse. ARAKLISPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Behlül Ilgın in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Behlül Ilgın got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 75th match minute, ARAKLISPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamil Uluçkan to maneuver through the defense. Dong Zhan Xiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, ARAKLISPOR's Fernando Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ARAKLISPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Behlül Ilgın in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. ARAKLISPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Portugal's Daniel Pimentel to fire away a dangerous shot which Aşık Tunçdağ despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fernando Celipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ARAKLISPOR fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
