Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. Antonio Alzamendi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Maxime Durand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Antonio Alzamendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of France booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xinaro Iranzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Maxime Durand throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adolfo Gipuzkoa in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Gipuzkoa in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Saco FC got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Dhaussy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Phillip Glerum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 26th minute of the match. Maxime Durand came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Saco FC's Peter-Jan De Brouwer. But to his dismay, Peter-Jan De Brouwer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Gipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quentin Beaux during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute of the match Chris Dhaussy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand skillfully saved the ball. Adolfo Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saco FC. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Maxime Durand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Adolfo Gipuzkoa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Maxime Durand to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Gipuzkoa in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maxime Durand stood somewhat misplaced when Adolfo Gipuzkoa came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Antonio Alzamendi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 57th minute of play forced Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Saco FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Phillip Glerum in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Alzamendi in the 85th minute of play. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Alzamendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jean Bombelles fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Jean Bombelles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Saco FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Bombelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Chris Dhaussy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the France players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saco FC.
