Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ibis Football Club's Pedro Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 19th minute of the match. Pedro Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ibis Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Hungary's Takacs Tibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Rosado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedro Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Eurico Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Eurico Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match Ibis Football Club got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeu Félix ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tadeu Félix made a great header on Ibis Football Club's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Eurico Peixoto came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. In the 46th minute of the game Bakos Endre made a throw-in which Balazs Lajos played forward. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Bakos Endre with Antal Valentin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 54th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Rosado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Antal Valentin in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Rosado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tadeu Félix hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Rosado could save by the left post. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 75th minute of play. When Per-Oskar Nordstedt fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibis Football Club's protests and gave Per-Oskar Nordstedt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Ibis Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Nordstedt to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Per-Oskar Nordstedt hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Ibis Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 84 minutes in the game Bakos Endre did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Major Barna. Pedro Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Nordstedt came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ennio Fallito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Hungary played a much better game than Ibis Football Club and deserved their victory. The Ibis Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
