Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 4th minute, Ronaldo Nazario reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Nazario's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the game, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Ronaldo Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ronaldo Nazario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Nazario. Ronaldo Nazario took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Nazario went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Ronaldo Nazario got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Éder Póvoas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Holweck went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Luís Brandon with Donato Camargo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Léo Giansanti scored 7-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Ronaldo Nazario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Yuri Aguiar was substituted for Donato Camargo. A collision led to A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Yuri Aguiar hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Éder Póvoas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 73rd minute. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 76th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Giansanti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Léo Giansanti made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. After 83 minutes, Rúben Cortez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Rúben Cortez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Éder Póvoas came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-2. Léo Giansanti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After 90 minutes of play, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Léo Giansanti made it 10-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Germany defense, Ronaldo Nazario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA fully deserved thier win.
