Ramón Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Camara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢远鹏 in the 24th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Camara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Campdora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firme Muro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Gonsalve to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Campdora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 谢远鹏 to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramón Camara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Camara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ramón Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Campdora's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Ramón Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Campdora's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Campdora's Ramón Camara managed to reach the ball for a save. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ramón Camara made a huge save. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Campdora's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
